Gut health is extremely important if we want to stay healthy and fit. Many have named the gut the second brain and for good reason. So, it is no surprise that products such as SlimFitGo Probiotics For Weight Loss are currently for sale in 2022.
For starters, the microbes that can be found inside our gut (microbiome) have an integral role to play for not just our immune system but even more so for our overall health. This includes our metabolism which essentially is key to how much fat we store and how many beneficial nutrients are absorbed as a result.
More so, from the gut, some 70-90% of the pleasure hormone serotonin is produced and this alone can make all the difference for maintaining a healthy size. This is because this is counter-productive to the stress hormone cortisol which itself can interfere with other hormones such as adiponectin, leptin and ghrelin.
In contrast, for anyone of us that desire to lose weight one such idea is to work on the relationship between our gut and the rest of our human biology. Consuming the right nutrients and probiotics can certainly improve our digestive health. As a possible solution, this is exactly how SlimFitGo Probiotics For Weight Loss might be worth a shot.
But what is the catch? Is this product the real deal or is there better options available?
Please keep reading my review to find out more about this new product and if this is worth the money.

What Are SlimFitGo Probiotics?
Firstly, the main thing to know about SlimFitGo Probiotics for weight loss is that this is a blend of seven different ingredients.
- Lactobacillus Acidophillus,
- Lactobacillus Rhamous
- Lactobacillus Plantarum
- Lactobacillus Casei
- Bacillus Subtilis
- Bifidobacterium Breve
- Bifidobacterium Longum
These come in a bottle of 30 veggie capsules. This is completely vegan friendly. They are manufactured in the USA and are both 4-FDA Compliant and GMP Approved. Plus these Probiotics are 100% natural with no toxins.
The Benefits of SlimFitGo Probiotics for Weight Loss
Other than this there are 4 key benefits that are said to assist with weight loss and healthy living.
These 4 key benefits are;
- Supports Weight Management
- Improves Energy Levels
- Boosts Metabolism
- Manages Cravings
Supposedly, these 4 things were key to helping Anastasija (not sure of her second name) lose her unwanted belly fat and bingo wings in just 60 days. I can not verify this story but apparently, Anastasija suffered for years because of her obesity. She tried several different diets, exercise programs, and supplements with no success at all.
Even going to the Gym for 5 days out of 7 a week for 2 hours a time didn’t help either. It was complete hell as you can imagine. Whatever Anastasija tried she just couldn’t lose weight xx
In fact, as the story goes it was not until after she did some research online that Anastasija found her solution.
This was a video by the Mayo Clinic about the link between gut flora (bacteria) and weight gain.
So this video talks about how the addition of healthy gut bacteria (probiotics) can help produce short-chain fatty acids which help boost metabolism and improve digestion. Both factors are known to contribute to better weight management but is it really this simple? That poor gut health is responsible for the problems of so many people?
Now, I don’t know whether this story is true or not. Although, what I do is that there are many people out there with the same troubles as Anastasija. Maybe you could be reading this all right now and think “yes this is exactly what it has been like for me”. I don’t want to give you false hope here but there is a very true conclusion here (I think).
*Please note SlimFitGo Probiotics may not be the definite answer to your problems but please keep reading as hopefully, you can find some of this information useful. So…
The Link Between Probiotics and Weight Loss
Of the wide variety of nutritional supplements Probiotics are linked with many health benefits. Of course, gut health is the main one, immune function is another but in fact, there is evidence to suggest that fat loss could be another.
Here is a short excerpt from an article published on Medicalnestoday.com;
It continues with the following statement.
In short, it has been concluded by these studies that those that are overweight and obese have a different composition of gut bacteria as opposed to others that are not overweight. (R)
However, whether probiotics can really help is the question. Studies to help try to determine this are ongoing. Although, one very interesting part of this research has shown that the use of antibiotics has been found to affect weight gain. (R)
It’s very complex stuff but yes it does appear that probiotics can indeed help us if we need to lose weight.
Is Slim FitGo Legit?
Of course on the face of it, Slimfitgo probiotics for weight loss look very appealing. The whole idea that actually taking a good probiotic supplement could be the answer is very intriguing. Of all the products I have reviewed this certainly has got my attention but just to be real with you – yes I think probiotics can help but you must choose the right product.
Is this it? Well, I know a bit about probiotic supplements already. I’ve researched 5 of the 7 types of Probiotics in this formula and this does give me some belief – that this could be worth a try.
Also, any product that offers a 180 Day Money Back Guarantee gives me a lot of confidence in knowing that you can try this product over a sufficient period of time, and if it doesn’t work you will have plenty of time to claim back a refund.
I think this is a good enough reason to give this product a try. Although, the biggest questions for me are ‘who is the owner of this brand?’ and ‘Where are the customer reviews?’ I mean I don’t think this product has been out for very long but still, this does seem kind of shady. I would recommend possibly something else just for this reason ~ [See My Top Pick HERE]
Now, I will leave it up to you whether you want to try out this product or not – but still, let’s continue…
SlimFitGo Probiotics Ingredients
*Note: On this Infographic L. Plantarum is listed here twice and it is spelt wrong ? there is no ‘i’. It should have L. Acidopillus listed here but it doesn’t. It’s a shame really is it is a cool looking graphic but continuing on… Inside SlimFitGo Probiotics is…
One of the more common kinds of probiotic bacteria is L. Acidophilus. This develops within the gut as well as other parts of the body naturally. It can also be found in fermented foods such as yogurts and other dairy products.
This kind is potentially helpful as it is believed to balance harmful bacteria that may grow due to illness or antibiotics. The other thing it does is help break lactose down into lactic acid. Many probiotic dietary supplements contain Lactobacillus Acidophilus and it is one that is definitely beneficial for many things.
One of the most widely used kinds of probiotics for supplementation is Lactobacillus Rhamnosus. This is known to be a type of probiotic bacteria that can survive in both bile and stomach acid.
L. Rhamnosus is a type of probiotic that may provide relief of symptoms for IBS, diarrhea, Acute gastroenteritis as well as eczema and dermatitis. (R)
As the name suggests L.Plantarum is derived from the fermentation of plant-based foods. Sauerkraut and Pickles are two good examples of foods that produce this type of probiotic bacteria.
For those that are interested in the supplementation of L.Plantarum, this may help to stimulate the digestive system, help your body to produce vitamins and fight off disease-causing bacteria. (R)
One main benefit of L. Casei is that it complements the growth of another important probiotic L. Acidophilus. It is documented to have a wide pH and temperature range and helps to produce the amino acid Amylase.
Also known as Lactobacillus Paracasei this strain of probiotics may be beneficial for inflammatory bowel disease – a condition that can cause stomach cramps, bloating/gas, diarrhea and constipation. (R)
Bacillus Subtilis is an endospore-producing bacteria that is able to survive extreme environmental conditions including heat and desiccation. This is commonly found in the soil but it is also very popular in commercial supplements because it is used to develop amongst other things both amylases and proteases. (R)
B. Subtilis is added to SlimFitPro to aid in both digestion and relaxing stomach acid. Furthermore, these microbes help to preserve vitamins and minerals in the gut from bad bacteria – allowing for improved absorption and weight loss.
The microbes apparently help the body achieve the perfect BMI (Body Mass Index). Something that both helps accelerate weight loss and maintains a healthy weight also. As well as this B. Breve can be used to treat many gut health conditions including constipation, diarrhea, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
It is commonly used in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and also ulcerative colitis. (R)
As for weight loss furthermore, some studies have concluded the B-3 strain of B. breve may stop or reverse obesity.[R]
According to some studies, B. Longum is a probiotic bacteria that has been shown to counter the effects of obesity. In one study B. Longum supplementation was shown to decrease body weight, and the accumulation of unhealthy fats and also was shown to increase glucose tolerance. (R)
Other than this B. Longum is commonly used to treat bowel problems, possibly colon cancer, yeast infections, eczema (skin conditions), lactose intolerance, and urinary tract infections.
MCT Oil (30mg)
Besides the probiotic blend of ingredients I have shared above inside SlimFitGo Probiotics, there is also 30 mg of MCT Oil. This is quite a popular ingredient in weight loss supplements. It doesn’t say absolutely anything about why this ingredient is included above but I would assume this is because MCT (medium-chain triglycerides) can help diminish unhealthy microbes.
In fact, there are several benefits for gut health even if you take MCT Oil on its own. It can both improve metabolism and combat inflammation just by itself but alongside prebiotics and probiotics, this can help this bacteria survive for longer. (R)
Thus making this a kind of a final piece of the puzzle for anyone interested in trying out this product.
On the SlimFitGo Probiotics for Weight Loss website, they share a handful of different studies that support the use of probiotics for losing weight. I personally would have liked to have seen a few more links but what’s here is still good information. will share a short summary of each below.
Baseline Gut Function Associated with Weight Loss
In a study by the American Society for Microbiology, results have shown the baseline taxonomic composition of the gut microbiome can help to determine responses to weight-loss interventions.
Although participants were also enrolled in a health and wellness program the conclusion was that of the 105 people that were involved the results were largely positive. The use of probiotics was shown to correlate with better metabolic function and weight loss. (R)
Gut Microbiota and Energy Metabolism
In the next study by the Journal of Innate Immunity, it was found that changes in the gut microbiota composition were associated with metabolic diseases such as obesity. More so poor microbial richness (gut health) was found to be linked to Insulin Resistance, a precursor of diabetes.
A link was also found between the gut-brain connection and how this information is used to regulate energy. (R)
The Gut-Brain Connection – Cleveland Clinic
Inside this article, it documents how that gastrointestinal (GI) health can be responsible for anxiety and stress. Researchers according to this information have found that the GI system has a secondary nervous system and it is this is why the gut is known as the second brain.
If anyone has ever felt butterflies in their stomach this is apparently why. Due to the nerve cells that are spread out all across our digestive system. Interestingly this might actually be key to metabolic disorders because poor gut health affects this secondary nervous system which can have a knock-on effect on hormonal regulation. (R)
*Note honestly, this is pretty much it. For some reason, they link to a review for BioFit ? and other than this there is just an article they have shared from Healthline.com The last product I reviewed had over 40 references so this is pretty pathetic really although the two articles for the studies I shared above are well worth a read.
What I Like About SlimFitGo
Firstly, I like the effort that has gone into creating the website. There is a couple of mistakes I noticed but it is pretty extensive with the information shared. Including the story of formerly overweight Anastasija. I felt this did go some way to show the impact that probiotics can have on those that are overweight or obese.
I also like the actual design of the bottle I think the marketing team for SlimFitGo Probiotics have done a good job here. There is some aspect of professionalism to this definitely but the best thing about this product is the 180 Days Money Back Guarantee.
Plus, the ingredients seem to be good. I like that they have also added MCT Oil to the mix and another thing for anyone that buys more than one bottle you can also get this free bonus.
Now, What I Don’t Like
I’ve definitely seen a lot worse products than SlimFitGo Probiotics for Weight Loss but of course in my opinion there are things that I think could be better.
For starters that there is no company publically mentioned behind the SlimFitGo brand. I don’t like this.
Also, only 7 links on the reference page I thought this was quite lazy. From my own research, I found several links that helped support the idea of using probiotic supplements to lose weight. Whoever put this product page together definitely messed up here and this is without the mistakes.
Maybe not too much of a big deal but on the infographic, L. Plantarum is on there twice and spelt wrong.
Also, there is this mistake on the page which I find seems very unprofessional.
You would think for a product as heavily promoted as this the company would take more care. Although, of course, this has nothing to do with the quality of the product. Definitely once more reviews appear online I will definitely update this review to share more information.

I have to admit I was quite excited when I first came across SlimFitGo Probiotics for Weight Loss. Yes, the 180 Day is what really got my attention but also I was already doing research for another post about the best probiotics for the elderly.
Not exactly related to weight loss but a good number of the probiotics I was researching about for that post I found were ingredients for this product. So definitely made my job a bit easier when it come to writing about the ingredients.
However, I will admit that this isn’t my top pick for a probiotic supplement. This I will share below but I definitely think if you are looking for something to try out that can help you with weight loss then this or Biofit which is actually very similar are both worth, at least, a try.
This is because with either you can try out for 3 months and if they don’t work you still have 3 months left to request a refund. For me, this definitely gives me confidence that this product is not just another dietary supplement scam.
If you have read any of my other reviews over the past 6 months you will see ~ I think any supplement offering only 60 days for their guarantee is highly suspect. There are some exceptions but this is pretty much a scam I think.
Especially as this is usually from the order date. They tell you you need to take more than one bottle for optimum results but by the time you find out whether the product works or not it is already too late for a refund. I really don’t like that so with SlimFitGo Probiotics I can really respect this – 180 Days is great.
Although, as I mentioned above I do think there are products for sale with a much better reputation.

My Verdict: I don’t like that this product only offers a 30-Day return policy or that buyers must commit to a subscription. Great Review. very detailed and the explanation of every ingredient was a nice touch. It shows you put a lot of work into this review.
Thanks Leonard. Appreciate your comment.
Reading this article today is perfect timing for me. I have been steadily losing weight for a couple of months now and this morning, to my horror, my weight jumped up 2kg! It didn’t occur to me that the course of anti-biotics I took recently may be the cause. After reading here about gut health and weight, it all makes sense now.
Thank you for a great, very detailed, review, Alex.
Hi Louise, This is good to hear. Sounds like a bit of a kick in the teeth this. Losing weight and then putting it straight back on. I don’t really want to say too much bad about the use of antibiotics. Obviously, you have been given them by a qualified professional (a doctor) I am simply just a health researcher and blogger but yes I have read that antibiotics not only kills bad bacteria but also good bacteria as well. I can not say for definite that you taking antibiotics has caused you to gain weight but yes maybe it might be worth trying a probiotics supplement to see if it will help. I don’t have a concrete recommendation at the moment – the one I really like the look of is Seed Daily Synbiotic but the thing I am not a fan of with this product is they only offer 30 days money-back guarantee and you must subscribe/set up a recurring order for every month to buy them. Qualitywise they definitely seem better than SlimFitGo and Biofit which is another you might want to check out but at least with these 2 they both offer 6 months guarantee so you can basically try them risk free.
SlimFitGo Probiotics seems to be a good product not only for weight loss but has other health benefits as well. With a 6 month guarantee, the company must be confident that people will see results. It is also priced reasonably for this type of natural health product. I appreciate this info as I use a variety of natural products and have for many years. All the best.
Thanks Joseph, Yes I do believe this to be a good product. Sure there is a couple of things I don’t like but any supplement that offers a 180 Day Money Back Guarantee is OK in my book as this basically gives you the opportunity to properly try the product and claim a refund if it doesn’t work. In my opinion, 3 months is plenty of time to try this out and then you still have the best part of 3 months if needs be to claim your money back.
Found this while doing a search for a family member. Thanks for the well written post.
When you mentioned the things you don’t like about the products, I’m with you on that. I feel like those mistakes, even though they are few, are quite damaging. No one wants to see misspelled words on a professional website for a supplement you’re putting into your body. It feels lazy, right? Even with all the positives you’ve listed, this gives me pause.
Hi Eric. Thanks for the comment. Yes, I wanted to write an honest review with the bad as well as the good and yes even though there is just the 2 mistakes I spotted it does make me feel like the company have been quite careless here. It’s a shame really because otherwise there does seem to be a lot of positives.
It’s well known that the right amount of and combination of gut bacteria is crucial for our health and general wellbeing. And this product seems to supply a good combination that would benefit us all.
However, not knowing who the manufacturer is a bit of a concern….
I also checked out their sales page. And if anyone falls for the ‘just take this one product and all your problems will be solved,’ line, well there’s no hope of them ever losing the weight they want to.
Our bodies are extremely complex, and then add in the added complexities of mind and emotions, and anyone with any sense will understand that losing weight is an issue that requires a multi-faceted approach.
Thanks for doing the research and providing the detailed information.
Hi Andrew, Yes I do get the impression that this is true about our gut health. It is such a fascinating subject. Just to think that our body contains billions and billions of organisms is like we are a planet within ourselves. I feel so crazy writing that if you think about life on this planet it helps to keep it alive. It’s much the same for the microorganisms that live inside of us. If they are not beneficial then we suffer as a direct result.
Not knowing the manufacture of this product is a bit of a concern you are right. If this is such a good product what do they have to hide? I mean the ingredients look good and the return policy is fantastic but other than that I definitely do have my doubts about this product. I would recommend it to try for sure but then again I definitely do think there are other products that could work much better. Not only this but products with actual positive customer reviews from trusted brands.
Hi Alex and thank you for your honest review.
I am probably one of the few people on this planet who did not have to deal with loosing weight. In fact when growing up I was always told that I need to eat more because I was so skinny. Today nobody says that to me anymore but they still ask how I manage to stay in shape. My secret: a have no secret 😀
Reading your article I start thinking that maybe I have healthy gut bacteria 🙂
Anyway, I realise that weight loss is something that many people are concerned about and many are looking for a solution. The solution needs to be healthy and sustainable I can imagine, otherwise there is no point in all the effort.
Probiotics seem to be that solution. However I can imagine that everybody would like to try out different things and decide for himself/herself what is the suitable option.
Specifically for SlimFitGo probiotics, I believe it is shady when they do not display who the manufacturer and the creator are, including errors on the website. That speaks of a third party working on the website in a rush.
That can also speak of a start up company that does not want to display its name and does not have much budget to allocate to its website. All fine I guess as long as the product does what it promises.
I also see that it is not per se your recommendation and there might be other options out there worth investigating.
Thank you for the review,
Hi Tatiana, Yes I totally agree with you there does seem to be a correlation between being healthy and gut bacteria. Like the digestive system actually needs good bacteria to function properly. I would say probiotics make all the difference. For me personally, I try to have a yoghurt every morning and a cup of green tea as I have trouble myself but I do think there are a lot worse people than me and actually taking probiotic supplements can make all the difference.
Although, I will be honest here. Probiotics are living things they are microorganisms and the main thing to understand is whether they are alive when they actually get to you or not. I would suspect that if they aren’t then there probably isn’t much point in taking them.
SlimFitGo I don’t know yes I think it could be a new company. I do feel suspicious about them although the thing is I know you can try them basically risk-free. You have 6 months to try them out basically and if they don’t work you can get your money back. Their vendor who handles their payments I know is legit so that definitely isn’t the problem but yes I would recommend something else. Seed Daily Synbiotic I think looks like a really good one (check out my review here) and also I think Cognibiotics by Bioptimizers could be a good one too because these contain a prebiotic blend as well as probiotics. I think because prebiotics actually helps to grow probiotics rather than them just being put into your body you don’t have to worry about them dying so much.
This is a really good review of this probiotic. I agree with you that gut health is every important if we want to stay healthy and fit. It is so underrated – perhaps because we don’t “see” it.
7 different ingredients is impressive, the product I am currently using has only the 2 strains, so on face value, this SlimFitGo one might be better.
But I am really curious, how can the manufacturer and owner be unknown?
This is important to determine the product and manufacturing quality
Eg. do they follow the highest quality manufacturing in the industry
4-FDA approved facility – can you elaborate more in what this means?
I’d want to know these few things before switching brands.
Thanks for the comment. These are all very good questions. I have messaged SlimFitGo to see if they can provide me with more information. Hopefully, they can as I do feel the 180 Days Warranty definitely gives me some confidence in the product but yes it would be nice to know what some of these things mean. I will update this comment as soon as I hear back from them (if I do).
Great review of SlimFitGo Probiotics For Weight Loss. I totally agree that your gut health is extremely important. I noticed that it is FDA approved, which is unusual for supplements in general. This is a great plus for a product like this. This increases the overall trust in the company. I am a quality assurance specialists so I do understand the importance of this rating. Using probiotics the right way and in the right amount can have a drastic effect on one overall health. Thanks again for this awesome review.
Thank you Ralph. Appreciate you taking the time to comment.
This is quite a detailed review, thanks for going that extra mile and providing us details of other Probiotic Supplements as well. With regards to this product, although it seems genuine with money back guarantee however I am surprised there are no details of the creator of SlimFitGo. This is a Red Flag for me – I would take my time before I recommend this to anyone but would definitely keep a close track on this product.
Hi Satz, Thanks yes I am trying to be a bit more detailed with my newer reviews. I agree about the money-back guarantee because why would they offer a 6 month money-back guarantee if the product was a dud right? Although yes I would like to find out a bit more information about the company. I have sent them one email but still have not heard back from them yet. Hopefully, they get back to me soon.
Thank you Alex a very balanced review, stating the pros and cons and doubts is good to know.
Call me ignorant, but I never realised the importance of probiotics in the system.
Almost everybody suffers from gut health, mostly because we don’t eat whole foods anymore.
After reading your review I know that I need some probiotics in my system.
Will definitely explore the other options you mentioned.
Thank you, this was a really enlightening article and will investigate more.
Hi Estelle, Glad you like it. I tried to do something a bit different with this article. Think it turned out for the better.
As for probiotics yes they are vital for gut health. As strange as it sounds our gut is a living ecosystem. It is also a nerve centre and things like a poor diet can negatively impact other areas of health. Taking probiotic supplements are not necessary for everyone. Many people actually do have healthy gut flora but then many without even realising could benefit from either more prebiotics and probiotic-rich foods or even supplements such as Slim Fit Go.
I think definitely if people are overweight or even obese this can (I think) be caused by poor gut health. For this reason, I would say it is worth trying out a few products to find whichever one works the best. The Seed Daily one I think looks really good _ I’m not sure how well probiotics survive in each respective supplement but this is a very important thing to know I think.
Anyhow, yes glad you found it interesting and certainly this is something that is worth looking into.
This is good info on probiotics and much appreciated. I am always looking for more knowledge and products in the natural health area. I am saving this information to review these products in more detail. Thank you,
Hi Joseph, Yes there are a lot of very interesting products available. I will be definitely looking at more in future. Biofit is another product quite similar to this but there are others too. I think Seed Daily Synbiotic looks good and another I recently looked at which has a lot of potential I think is Leaky Gut Guardian by Bioptimizers.
