Ingredients: 2 pers.
- 300 ml of pineapple juice (pure juice)
- 200 g minced fennel
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2-star anise
- 1 C. 1 teaspoon green anise seeds
- 1 tablespoon of powdered or grated ginger
- 300 ml of water
Preparation 10 minutes:
In a saucepan, add the fennel, sugar, star anise, and green anise seeds. Cover with 300 ml of water and cook over low heat.
· Once the fennel is tender, drain it and let it cool.
· Remove the star anise, then mix the fennel with the pineapple juice and ginger filter.

Detox Recipe Idea 3# – Cream of Spinach and Blue Cheese from Auvergne??
Ingredients: 4 pers.
- 500 g branched spinach
- Four potatoes
- One onion
- One vegetable stock cube
- 750 ml of water
- 75 g of Bleu d’Auvergne
- 2 tbsp. fresh cream
- 50 g butter
- salt pepper
Preparation: 15 min
Cooking: 15 min
Peel and slice the onion.
Peel and cut the potatoes into pieces.
Chop the spinach.
Melt the butter in a saucepan
Sweat the onion until golden brown
Add the potatoes and spinach, then the water, broth, salt, and pepper.
Cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes
Mix the preparation with a hand blender.
Add the cream, salt, and pepper, then mix well.
Serve the soup piping hot on deep plates.
Cut the blue cheese into pieces and divide it on top.
Enjoy hot.

Pineapple and Fennel I did not mention in this list but they could have both easily have been on there. Pineapple for one contains bromelain which is a natural digestive enzyme with a whole wide array of different health benefits. I don’t really have as much knowledge about fennel but it can definitely be classed as a detox food. I know that.
