Are Cogniora Nootropics a Scam!!?  My 5-Day Free Trial – Here is What Happened.   Let me tell you what my experience has been like with this product.  I decided to try this cognitive enhancer because it was a legal nootropics product with a free trial.  Honestly, yes Free TRIAL – see screenshot!  But before you opt for this free trial – please read this post.

cogniora nootropics review

I decided to try Cogniora because I recently reviewed another nootropics product called Nootrogen, and months before this Cognibiotics by Bioptimizers  From my research here I learned about nootropics, memory and brain supplements.  I was curious since this first review and I wondered if taking nootropics could boost my productivity.

Not only this but if I could find the right kind of nootropics that would work for me.  So I could write a proper case study about myself and my own experience.  For this reason, I thought this was a great opportunity.  I actually had this post in mind when I began writing.  So, now my trial is over here is my short experience.  It’s only 5 days (I know) but here’s what happened.

My 5-Day Trial and What Happened!!

Are cogniora nootropics a scam

So prior to receiving my free nootropics sample I thought this company was very professional.  For my £2.99 shipping fee, I was provided with a tracking number and I even got texts to my phone, and emails to let me know when I would receive my free sample package etc.

I liked that.  Free sample, professional, and based in the UK.  Plus, when I received them I got a cool box with pamphlets inside for each of the ingredients in my stack.

  1. Rhodiola Rosea
  2. Guarana
  3. Alpha GPC
  4. Panax Ginseng

Pretty cool I thought!  but as for my actual trial…

Are Cogniora Nootropics a Scam!! –
Day 1: My First Experience

cogniora nootropics 5 day free trial

The first day of my 5-day trial.  It is a Wednesday and I decide to take my first dosage of these nootropic pills.  The first thing I remembered from taking them was swallowing them all at once.  It kind of hurt my throat if I’m being honest.  Not sure why I mentioned that but it is better to swallow them separately – just to let you know.

Now, I didn’t really notice too much difference on this first day.  As to be expected I guess.  One thing though on this particular day was I had my days mixed up.  I thought it was a Thursday and not a Wednesday!!  For this reason, I had done around 2 hours of my work for my eBay business.

My plan for the day was to get done for either 6 or 7 pm. Then to get to the sorting office for 8 pm when it closed.  I don’t know what I was thinking – I actually thought it was Thursday.  Anyway, I stopped for a break around 3 pm and this was when I took my first dose of nootropics…

About 45 minutes later I was doing the washing up and It actually hit me.  It wasn’t Thursday ???? The sorting office was already closed (12 am on Wednesday) and I was so lucky that I realised.

It could have made things very difficult for me.  Plus getting a taxi thereafter when it had closed hours earlier – I would have looked like a right plonker.

So, that was interesting.  It is debatable whether this was because of the nootropics or not but one thing is for sure.  Something clicked in my brain.  Although, nothing else really to note but 1st day what do you expect right?

Are Cogniora Probiotics a Scam!! – Day 2:

cogniora nootropics

Day 2:  I’m not having the best of days.  I’ve woken up late and felt really sluggish.  Not sure it was some kind of nootropic hangover but didn’t think so.  Too much sleep and maybe because I’ve slept on the sofa.  Not enough of the right kind of sleep.

Which isn’t totally uncommon for me – some mornings the motivation just isn’t there.  If I don’t follow my usual routine it can be troublesome.  This day was no different.  I actually have Aspergers so this I think can mess up my motivation sometimes, and this has maybe something to do with this.

Anyway, I did get to work somehow.  I had a deadline to meet that I was no way going to miss.  My goal was to get all my eBay work done for when Royal Mail closed at 8 PM (the right day this time).  But I stopped for a break at around 3:30 PM.

This was when I took my second days dosage of Nootropics

I think it helped actually.  Again debatable – only my 2nd day but I thought with my work – my decision making was a bit sharper.  My sister thought I was drunk on the phone when I spoke to her.  I wasn’t quite sure why but I did feel just a bit spaced out.  Again not sure if it was the Nootropics or I was just a bit scatty still from a bad start to the day.

Is Cogniora Probiotics a Scam!! – Day 3

nootropics reviews day 3

Now, this was a much better day than the last one.  I got up and took a shower at half seven (always a good sign for a productive day)  I spend most of the day writing and I took my dose around half 3.  The effects I thought really helped today.  At times I did feel sharper.   This could have been to do with the nootropics but it was a good day for me as I was able to follow my routine.  It could have been the nootropics but I do usually feel better if things go my way.

Note:  This is typical with my Aspergers.  Whether it’s good or bad depends on how I begin the day.  It’s kind of like if I don’t get up and have a shower and have something to eat it will play on my mind all day.  Which then will affect other things like getting my work done etc. and once I get behind with that I really have hell to pay.

Now, are Cogniora Probiotics a Scam!! – Day 4:

Day 4
:  This is a bit bad but this is actually Day 6 for me.  It’s a Saturday I’ve just got back from Royal Mail and my PC keeps on switching off.   I actually feared the worst but it turned out my flat had a series of sweeping power cuts.  So, I ended up going out and not coming back till late Sunday.  Not really what I wanted to do in regards to this trial but instead I took my next dosage at around quarter past 4 on the following Monday.

I definitely felt the effects I thought.  Hard to explain – it was another good day for me.  In terms of following my routine.  But also everything was productive so I was happy there.  I got my work done and it was all good.  I thought the nootropics helped today but could have just been my brain was working for a change anyway.

Anyway…

Only one day left so let’s see.

Are Cogniora Probiotics a Scam!!? – Day 5:

I didn’t take my dosage today as planned.  Sure, I missed a couple of days but something really put me off…

Actually, and with good reason.  Now, bear this in mind I haven’t spoken to Cogniora (yet).  I hadn’t decided about placing another order (yet).  Mainly, because I still had one dose of pills.

Now, It’s probably a bit bad for me to admit this but I only ever intended to try the 5-Day trial.  I actually had thought that I’d cancelled my pre-approved payment from PayPal as well (I expected them to charge me) but I thought I stopped them.

But, low and behold I check my PayPal today, and wow;

cogniora is a scam

THIS COMPANY IS A BUNCH OF CROOKS.  I did not place another order with Cogniora knowingly.  To be honest,  I was suspicious that they might try something like this.  I was pretty sure that I checked my pre-approved payments on PayPal and cancelled something after paying the £2.99 for shipping of my free sample.

Obviously not?

Worse still I have tried to claim back from PayPal but the case was found in Cognioras favour.  What’s more 2 email replies from Cogniora and they have refused to refund me.

Apparently because in an email (I didn’t read) it said about the subscription being set up, and because my stack was personalised they couldn’t accept a return.  Very convenient for them!

My Verdict on Cogniora Nootropics

cogniora is a scam

As I have said above (I think) this company are CROOKS.  They are breaking the law according to one review on Trustpilot.  Not sure how true but it says they’re in breach of the Consumer Contract (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Practices Regulations 2008.

As the terms and conditions of the ‘free trial’ were not and are not prominently displayed on the website.

Here is basically what you see after spending 10 minutes filling out a quiz for your personalized stack.

memory and brain supplements box

Nothing about a subscription until you scroll down the page further.  Which I’m guessing most people DO NOT do.

Likely because this just looks like a single page. It certainly fooled me but to be fair – they do say about this subscription if you scroll down.  Plus there is a box you tick when ordering your free sample.  I didn’t actually notice this – thought it was just some plain T+C’s as expected.   It is right there in black and white but I wouldn’t say it’s prominently displayed.

They are very deceptive in this respect and I think their future is very questionable for this reason.

Like I did myself (i would suspect) most people will just click get my free sample, and not even look at the information such as about the subscription being set up and the return policy but it is there.  See below.

returns policy

Now, unfortunately, this works very much in Cogniora’s favour.  Once you have ordered they will take your money without your permission and refuse a refund because you have inadvertently subscribed.  Then say a refund is against their returns policy.  Lot’s of trickery here – they do say about the subscription but for a lot of people (like myself), we are so eager to get the free sample we don’t even notice the small print.

However…

?

So, I know right – I’ve basically just said this product is a scam (I think it is), but here is the thing.  I mean it’s too early to tell if these have worked for me.  If I do as expected end up with my first month’s supply, and I end up taking them I will update this review.  I can’t really say for sure if these work after 5 days but Trust Pilot actually do have a few positive reviews.

Only some, basically from the 33% that didn’t leave negative reviews but if you are happy to spend the money.  Well…

Here is a link…  {CLICK HERE}  Just be ready at around the 10-Day for your 1st subscription charge.

Also, be aware that this is basically a direct debit that has been set up for this amount to be taken each month.

Just be vigilant if you don’t want the 2nd box or even the first box.

My Recommendation – Other Nootropic Products

So, I know this is not an option if you are especially after a personalized nootropics stack.  Cogniora in this respect are pretty unique but Nootrogen I recently reviewed.  I don’t really know if it is better or not in terms of effects.  I see there is one website that is totally slandering it (even though they haven’t tested it) but the company who manufactures Nootrogen called Vitabalance or Vitapost I do trust.

I have reviewed a few of their products and even bought their joint health supplement ProJointPlus for my Mum to try.  So, if I was to buy a Nootropics product myself other than Cogniora this is what I would go with.

Only thing, if you are interested, you will need to ship from the USA.  The price is quite reasonable @ $29.95 for a bottle of 60 caps, and you can also get a further 5% off using this discount code {FIVE$45473465}.  Plus, if you do reorder USE CODE – VTA25 for 24% off your resupply!

Then as for returns, unfortunately, you can only return if bottles are unopened but you have 4-5 months to do so.

Also… Another suggestion to try is.  Cognibiotics by Bioptimizers.  This is a 100% a brand I can trust even better.  I would only choose Nootrogen myself because it is cheaper but this is a safe bet for me.  The only thing that puts me off is the price of around $60 a bottle, but they are also from the UK and do not try to trick you like Cogniora.

And, On Trust Pilot lookup Bioptimizers.  Even look up there other products on Amazon.  They are very popular.  As you will see…

Anyway, this is all for now – hope you have found this post helpful!
