So, What is Carb Cycling let’s get straight to the point
Carb Cycling is a diet plan where you cycle between having low carbs and high carbs alongside a convenient exercise plan.
See this chart below as an example.
This is not the only way of doing this. This is effectively just one person’s own exercise plan but of course, this is something you can try out for yourself. Above are 2 different plans. One that involves exercising (usually weight training) 4 days a week and the other just 3 days. There are 2 symbols to represent both training days and rest days.
This alone should actually be enough for some people to try carb cycling for themselves. Albeit with a few conscientious decisions to make but of course having a specific diet plan to follow can most certainly be of benefit.

Why You Need To Follow A Carb Cycling Diet Plan
This is not essential in essence you could make this up as you go along. Most people will know what carbohydrates are (Bread, Pasta, Rice etc.). So, yes you could just roughly follow something like the chart above and just have some days that are more carb-heavy than others.
However, by not following a well-organized plan (in my view) there are some problems that you may run into. You could end up putting on extra weight on the carb-heavy days. That is one thing or you could make yourself ill by not managing your diet to suit your body’s needs.
When you start taking carbohydrates out of the equation your body after a period of time will go into ketosis.
Read more about this in my Custom Keto Diet Review Here
Ketosis (if you don’t know) is when the body biologically stops using glucose from carbohydrate metabolism as its main fuel source. Instead, it will switch to using ketones from metabolized fat and protein. See dictionary definition below ⏬
Carb Cycling Vs. The Keto Diet
I thought this might be worth covering whilst I’m on the topic. The Keto Diet has become very popular in the age of the internet but the first known recorded report of what we now know as the keto diet is from 1862. When it was used by funeral director William Banting to lose 50lbs. After this, it was popularized in the 1920s and 1930s as a treatment for epilepsy.
For sure it is certainly a hot topic for debate. Carb Cycling is almost certainly a much newer concept possibly given birth to as a result of somebody’s bad experience of Keto. I can not confirm or deny that by the way but I would say it seems to be the case. Keto has definitely helped many lose weight over the years but if it isn’t done properly it can make you feel very ill.
So, bottom line I would say there isn’t a clear winner between the two. The carbs are bad debate is nonsense I think. If you look at what they do in Japan with food flavour pairing you will see what I mean. Getting the right balance of carbs I think is important. Too many carbs and refined sugars which you find in white bread, white flour etc. is the problem I believe.
The key is to find the right diet plan for you and stick to it. Not every one will work but find one which sounds good for you and give it a go. This could be Keto or Carb Cycling or any one of the many others.

About The Product – Carb Cycling for Weight Loss
Above is the sales video from the Carb Cycling for Weight Loss Sales page. The 7-minute video makes a lot of very big claims such as this diet plan is for anyone that doesn’t want to follow a strict diet with a tiresome exercise regime.
It also claims to help lose weight fast, and that it is unlike anything else before it.
Lot’s of big talk here. I would say it does seem interesting. If you have the $13.99 spare why not? but I get the feeling a lot of this is just sales talk. All these products do it. My honest advice is to check the product out and if you don’t feel like it is something that is going to help you after 20-25 days take them up on their 30-Day refund policy.
You can also check out their Free eBook beforehand to see what to expect from the carb cycling for weight loss program.
In Conclusion – To Buy Or Not To Buy
Do you want to commit to a diet that isn’t so overly strict about what you can and can’t eat? This to me seems ideal for anyone that doesn’t want to give up all their favourite carbs. Things like Rice, Roast Potatoes, Bread Rolls, Pasta, etc.
Most people won’t know any different. They are so used to waking up in the morning eating toast or cereal, sandwiches for lunch, and meat and potatoes for dinner. Giving up carbs can be hard and I think this diet is a way that you can meet yourself halfway.
I don’t believe it is as effective as the sales video says it is. Personally, it seems just a tad overhyped but it’s a digital product, you have 30-Days to claim back a refund so that is the silver lining. Plus the offer also includes several bonuses and the price is not too expensive. Only $13.99 but when you go to pay they do have a checkbox to sign up for the carb cycling for weight loss email series.
This I would expect will be them trying to sell you a load of upsells so be careful there.
