Hello Guys, For today’s post Doctor G’s Q-Ion Immune Support System Review. Who Is Doctor G and what is this product – Q Ion Immune Defense? I mean I must admit prior to a recent email I’d never heard of either of them.
Although, I thought about looking into this product as it was for Immune support.
This has been in the back of my mind a lot. In the times we are living in, with COVID-19 dominating all the news – Immune Support I think is a very important topic. Now more than ever.
I know a lot of people are getting vaccinated. That could be seen as a preventative measure itself but the thing I’ve wondered since last year is this. Who is actually ready to invest in building a stronger immune system?
A saying I’ve heard a lot recently is ‘prevention is the best cure’. I don’t mean to come across as an anti-vaxxer but surely the best thing anyone can do to protect themselves is to build a stronger immune system. Vaccines I don’t mean to attack them (it is not professional) but a lot of vaccines work by attacking the immune system.
They are designed to trigger a healthy immune response. That I would question personally but how about just building a Strong Immune Defense? Surely if you are worried about catching COVID or anything else this is the most natural thing you can do. Following a system that makes your body work more efficiently at protecting itself.
Exactly what this product is supposed to do. Although, is this legit? that is the question
Doctor G’s Q-Ion Immune Support System Review – Is This Legit?
I honestly have a few reasons to think this isn’t (legit). Please keep reading – I will get to this part soon enough. Before I get to this part though I was thinking it might be smart to cover some information about the Immune System in general.
How Does the Immune System Work?
If you are not sure exactly the Immune System is a network that runs throughout the body. It includes cells, organs, and tissues. These work together to build up a defense system against infectious diseases, pathogens, and foreign invaders.
This is what is known as the body’s immune response which is a safeguard that protects against substances and organisms that can cause disease. For example, a splinter from a piece of wood is a foreign object that can infect the body. It doesn’t belong in the body so the Immune Response will work the best it can to make sure this doesn’t cause infection.
Building a Stronger a Stronger Immune Response
This is actually the idea behind vaccinations to force your body to create a stronger immune response. Often tailored to target certain infectious diseases. Where they can go wrong though is they may trick your immune response into actually attacking healthy cells. A lot of vaccines actually include the disease they are made to protect you against.
Which I think can work depending on the person but you don’t need a vaccine to generally build a stronger immune defense. The correct diet is the best way to build a healthier body. Exercise and meditation may help too but eating the right foods should be your first port of call. Exactly, really in essence what this product is designed for.
To add important nutrients to your body’s ecosystem that will help it build a stronger Immune Defense.
Who Is Doctor G
First things first. Who is the creator of Doctor G Naturals Q-Ion Immune Defense Support?
Dr. John Gordon is (apparently so) a board-certified physician that works at one of the busiest ER departments in the USA. He is not to be confused with Dr. G from the TV Show Dr. G. Medical Examiner. It would make my job writing this review a lot easier lol But, no this Dr. G is the face behind the ‘Doctor G’s Naturals’ dietary supplement company.
Annoying really as if you look online there are a few different Dr. G products;
Dr. G’s CBD, Dr. G Probiotics, and a good few others.
They just aren’t the same Doctor G
The sales page is very fancy but other than this there is no trace (I can find) of this Doctor G.
For this reason, I am very suspect of this product but what about it anyway…
What is it supposed to do?
What Is the Q-Ion Immune Support System?
Well, according to Doctor G this Q-Ion supplement is based on something that is known as Ion Blast technology. This I can not find any information about. At least none that is not related to this product. It is supposed to work by increasing the body’s amount of antibodies. Thus preventing unfriendly pathogens from causing infection.
In theory yes this is how the immune system works. Our white blood cells (leukocytes) combine to build up antibodies that help protect our cells from damage. These antibodies are a part of a group of cells called ImmunoGlobulin. This is carried throughout the body through our white blood cells. Whilst simultaneously helping the immune system to heal itself more efficiently.
Sound good right? I would say the science is sound but what is actually inside this supplement.
Q-Ion Immune Support System Ingredients
Camellia Sinensis Extract (EGCG)
For anybody that doesn’t know Camellia Sinensis is the name given to the tea plant. EGCG is a compound found within various types of tea including Black, White, Green, and Oolong. This ingredient is added because it helps stop the build-up of free radicals and helps to repair oxidative stress.
Quercetin
Found inside plant flavonoids. Quercetin is known for its cancer prevention properties and for searching for and disposing of hostile free radicals. It also helps stimulate the immune system with anti-viral, anti-allergic properties; inhibits histamine release, and creates pro-inflammatory cytokines plus leukotrienes.
Bromelain
This is the active ingredient found inside pineapple juice. It is mostly used in health supplements because it is very effective at reducing inflammation. In fact, it is often used as a more natural alternative to NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) including Asprin, Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, and Nurofen.
Zinc Citrate
Zinc is a very important trace mineral that is essential for hormone regulation, blood circulation plus a lot of other different things. One of these is according to studies is its role in helping the immune system to effectively respond to inflammation.
Zinc Citrate is chosen instead of other types of Zinc as it allows for quicker absorption. These include enhanced benefits in a minimal amount of time. Quercetin is added because it is a zinc ionophore that is added to boost absorption for all ingredients.

My Verdict
I will go out on a limb here and say this product has a lot of potentials. I don’t trust how limited the information is behind this but if you actually look up Zinc Ionophores and Quercetin the information may surprise you.
A recent study in Turkey drove by Hasan Önal, MD looked at quercetin’s possible use in the treatment and counteraction of Coronavirus. In the preliminary, 95 patients with Coronavirus are getting 1000 mg quercetin, and 113 medical care laborers are accepting a 500 mg portion as a prophylactic.
The two gatherings are additionally accepting bromelain and Vitamin C.
Quercetin’s antiviral properties have likewise been the focal point of exploration by specialists Michel Chrétien and Majambu Mbikay at the Montreal Clinical Exploration Establishment.
They have likewise proposed utilizing quercetin for treatment of Coronavirus and are additionally leading clinical preliminaries. While the consequences of the examinations will not be known for a while, Chrétien and Mbikay are idealistic that quercetin might have the option to assume a part in treatment or anticipation. “A cell has a lock, and the infection has a key,” Chrétien said, “yet quercetin places stick in the lock.”
The interesting part here is the relationship between Zinc and Quercetin.
Quercetin is the active ingredient that helps the body to absorb Zinc Citrate.
In Summary
I think the science here is sound. Zinc Deficiency can definitely lead to a weakened immune system. It is said to be the most important micronutrient for building a healthy immune response. This to me sounds like a sound plan. Even though it’s only 4 ingredients supplementing these ingredients will definitely help build a stronger immune system.
Whether through a supplement like this one or by adding certain foods to your diet. Quercetin is found in a variety of foods; Tomatoes, Green Pepper, Cauliflower, Broccoli, and Red Onions. The zinc you can find in a variety of different seeds and nuts. Pineapple juice is full of Bromelain. Whether Doctor G’s product works better though that is the question…

Dosage
Take one capsule a day during mealtime. If you take any medication or have any pre-existing health problems consult with your GP first. They may advise this if allowed is taken at another time.
Also, it is worth noting that this product is generally safe if you have any allergies but like any health supplements always if you can speak to a doctor first. Preferably Doctor G if you can find him ?
Jokes aside don’t exceed recommended dosage and as a precaution avoid if under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding.
In Conclusion
If you would like to Buy Doctor G’s Q Ion Immune Defense Supplement this is available in 23 countries with free shipping. The 60 Days I am not sure if it’s from the date of delivery or order date. Although, I would guess it is the latter. I don’t personally like it when companies only offer 60 Days because I don’t think it is long enough.
I have looked up Zinc and Quercetin supplements sold separately you might save a bit of money here but nowhere near than if you buy the multipack. I would also recommend if you are looking for a cheaper product to try this one.

This product looks promising! I had never heard of Q-ion immune defense either, but it seems to have great ingredients that are backed by research. I know zinc and bromelain are both very beneficial.
The price per bottle isn’t bad either, especially for the 5-pack. Have you had a chance to try it yet? Thank you for posting this review!
Hi Delaney, Thanks for commenting. I hadn’t heard of this product either till very recently. The ingredients yes I I’m quite sure they are backed by science. Google Zinc Ionophores and you will see what I mean. The price I think is quite high myself but whether this means it is a premium mark up I don’t know. I guess this would be to do with the ingredients. I’d personally go with the Vitapost Immune Complex myself but maybe this is worth all the hype will find out soon enough I’m sure.
Vaccines absolutely attack the immune system. That’s their job. So your article about immune system support came out at the right moment. No wonder. Thanks for doing this part and taking care and spreading the word. Of course it’s peoples choice whether they will support their immune system or not but yes you are 100% right!
Thank you Sunny, I don’t mean to bad mouth vaccines I know people are very worried at the moment but yes totally the way they work is by attacking the immune system so they can alter the immune system to protect against certain diseases but I don’t personally agree with a lot of them. So many cases of vaccinations backfiring – and people actually getting the diseases there trying to protect themselves from.
I think before even taking any vaccination you should safeguard your health first. Stop smoking, drinking alcohol, eat the right food and definitely consider healthcare supplements if they are from a trusted source.
Good day, I’m pleased to meet you. Well, I think investing in building a strong immune system is significant to everyone. I am very happy to have read about Q-Ion Immune Support System, which I did not know before. This review is well presented and organized, I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for sharing this crucial information.
Thank you Kokontala; I am glad you liked it 👍
This time of pandemic, we really need to build a stronger immune system.
I am under medication and my Neurosurgeon took away the food supplement I was taking then. The fish oil was retain, anyway.
If I may choose between being vaccinated and taking supplement to build a stronger immune system? I would choose the latter. I do not know if my body system can resist any disease introduced internally to build a stronger defense eventually.
Currently, I am prescribed with hormone supplements, sodium ascorbate with zinc, medicine for my heart and calcium.
When catching colds, I take one native supplement that easily arrest my colds, or even flu of my children.
I have no liberty to explore further as of this time.
As of Doctor G’s Q-Ion Immune support System, I am having a question of its plant or factory capacity, internal manufacturing system and if those seals were really granted, how much does he complies when left alone. Things you can further look into for another post if possible.
Thanks Rose, Yes definitely agree and seems like you know a bit about different supplements. It’s good to hear from people that have positive things to say because I hear so many bad things about supplements in general. Anyway, this product in my review I definitely agree that I need more information about it. I think I could maybe look into it more in the future to see if anything new comes to light but till then I would probably recommend the cheaper product I shared in my review I think. Many thanks for commenting; Kind regards; Alex
