Just off the South Coast of Japan, you will find the Okinawa and Ryuku Islands. One of the largest of these islands, which goes by many names, is Okinawa Island! IF you are looking for a solution for better health and to get in better shape then perhaps look no further…
Many reviews for the Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic all say that if you try this product it can help you to lose weight, burn fat and increase energy. This is a very curious product that makes some very fascinating claims. If you are looking for the best dietary supplement to help lose your ugly belly fat and to completely transform your physique with life-changing results – please keep on reading…
Now, so on Facebook, I’ve joined a few different groups for healthy living, nutrition tips and weight loss.
Quite often I see people post and in the comments section. These people share links for products that they believe might be helpful for people.
Sometimes actually I will do this myself. I will share my content with xx amount of groups and I will get a notification.
Then when I check to see – it isn’t someone saying wow great article! but someone sharing a link. See Example Below ⏬
It’s kind of a bit spammy I think. You couldn’t really trust anyone sharing these links but funny enough this is how I first heard of #OFBT.
Prior to this, I will admit the first instance of hearing about the island of Okinawa was in The Karate Kid films. It is where Mr. Miyagi comes from.
Other than this I knew that Japan was a very healthy country but I will admit I didn’t really know about the Ryukyu Islands or Okinawa.
So, this is kind of why I wanted to review this product. After doing my research It does seem that the creators of this product might be on to something. There do seem to be a lot of healthy aspects linked to the diets of the Okinawan people.
Not only this but I want to clear this up for people.
IF this is really some amazing kind of weight loss tea or just a total scam that isn’t worth the money!

My Verdict (In short):
Contains an unbelievable amount of Ingredients. Some of these such as Himalayan Shilajit (rock-sweat) I find very fascinating. Although, as a Clickbank product it does make this supplement just a little bit suspect.

About Me – Just To Let You Know Who I Am Quickly…
This is just one of many dietary supplements I have reviewed in the past 2 years. My goal with these reviews is not to try and sell every product I have a link for. It is totally up to you the reader if you want to try out any of these products but if you want to see which products I actually recommend…
Here Are Some Of The Other Products We Have Reviewed!
*The list above is a kind of work in progress that I will continually update as I review new products etc.
So far my top recommendation for weight loss supplements is HFL Solutions Lean Optimizer [Read My Review HERE]
But, just in case you are wondering… about #OFBT
What is Okinawa Belly Fat Tonic?
Firstly, this is a unique fat loss supplement that comes in a can as a powder (87.5g). This you likely have guessed already, #OFBT is made from a blend of different herbs, plants, and superfoods. It is labeled as a simple natural solution. Made from an apparent 3000-year-old recipe. From you guessed it – the island of Okinawa. I can not confirm or deny if this is true.
So, if you watch the video on the website one of the first claims made is that in Okinawa overweight people DO NOT exist. Not only this but they have the highest life expectancy in the world. 2 out of 3 people live to almost 100. [R]
This is interesting because for my Cinderella Solution review, I learned that Okinawa’s neighbors in Japan are very similar.
Other than this I was able to find out one of the chief ingredients in the Okinawa flat belly tonic supplement is the Red Hibiscus flower.
This is found all over Okinawa and Japan. It can be made into Roselle Tonic or Jelly/Jam. A potent source of Anthocyanins and full of powerful antioxidants. To me, this alongside Shilajit is OFBT‘s 2 most exciting and unique ingredients.
So, this for me is basically the main thing about this product. The story by the creator Mike Banner claims that he was able to help his very desperate sister and work colleague after discovering this formula.
I will spare you the details but here is what the Okinawa belly fat tonic is supposed to do…
How Does Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic Work?
So, typically with most weight loss products, they have gone to the trouble of filming a sales video. There is always a specific cause that is blamed for people becoming overweight in these videos. Okinawa flat belly tonic is no different. It suggests that a large percentage of people are overweight because of high levels of C-Reactive proteins. An inflammatory protein that damages mitochondria DNA, and is linked to obesity.
The worst part is that this dangerous blood protein is a result of hidden toxins in our vegetables and water. Scary, but I actually believe this part. In a couple of posts now I’ve written about Free Radicals, EDCs, BPAs, plus Heavy Metals such as Cadmium, Arsenic, Lead, and Mercury. Not forgetting PM 2.5 air pollution. In contrast, the human race is regularly contaminated with toxic shite is not a hard sell to me. It is obvious I think.
Now, the possible solution for reversing CRP damage is starting a diet that will activate a dormant weight loss-doubling molecule called adiponectin. This I’m pretty sure is the same thing they talk about in the Cinderella Solution (Reviewed Here). It is definitely a thing. See this short video…
So this is the claim by Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic. People struggle to lose weight because of genetic issues that are caused by high CRP. Thus, if you want to chemically reverse these effects you must increase your natural levels of adiponectin.
I actually do not doubt this but whether this formula does a better job than others I am not so certain about but on the topic still…
What Does High CRP Mean for YOU?
The sales video for Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic makes a very big point about CRP inflammation of the lungs. Also, it is common for firefighters to have high CRP because of smoke inhalation. Although this is not the only cause the chart above definitely supports this idea.
So, the question here is could a flush from these highly toxic C-Reactive Proteins, and raising Adiponectin levels really be the answer?
Low Adiponectin Levels and Obesity?
This information is bang on the money for me. It doesn’t mean that the Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic Works. Not by a long shot but one thing that is a scientific fact is that low adiponectin levels are linked to obesity.
And not just this but Type 2 Diabetes, Insulin Sensitivity, and Metabolic Syndrome as well.
The fact is simple Adiponectin is essential for Leptin, Insulin, and Ghrelin regulation. Also, Adiponectin is vital for Glucose Metabolism.
The point of the Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic is high CRP causes low adiponectin. The cure again you can’t deny OFBT has another point here. You need to get the right nutrients inside of you. Which you could say is the basis for almost every diet. There is no argument from me about this
However, the main 2 questions I think are 1# – Does this unique blend of foods and herbs activate this dormant fat-burning hormone? and 2# – Are these Ingredients really what’s inside Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic?
Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic Ingredients
Actually, not sure where to begin here. There are 4 sets of ingredients labeled that are supposed to be in this product.
- A Vitamin and Mineral Blend,
- Polyphenol Blend (Fruits and Berries etc.),
- A Metabolic Booster Blend, and finally
- Prebiotic + Probiotic blend.
In total including everything, there are (I think) 56 Ingredients. Too many to cover I would say, but let’s have a quick skim through…
So… Let’s begin with…
B-Vitamin and Trace Mineral Blend
OK, so mostly looking above at this list and what I is B Vitamins.
- Thiamin,
- Riboflavin,
- Niacin
- Folate.
- Biotin
- Pantothenic Acid.
- Vitamin B12
This is pretty much every B Vitamin there is. These have a whole host of different health benefits.
As for Selenium and Chromium, these 2 trace minerals are also interesting additions. Selenium helps with metabolism and cell regulation. Whilst Chromium is important for proper glucose absorption and metabolism.
The Polyphenol Blend
The bulk of OFBT is made of this blend (2150mg). The first ingredient mentioned in the video is the Red Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower. This is added because it is a potent source of anthocyanins. As are Blackcurrants, Blackberries, Blueberries, Cherries, Strawberries, Cranberries, Raspberries, and by the looks of things a large % of this blend.
So, in case you are wondering anthocyanins are crucial for a healthy inflammatory response. [R] They are also said to help with liver health, and help fight off free radicals. Not only this but these berries are rich sources of Vitamin C. As is the obvious Orange and Lemon but as well Aronia Berry which is supposedly one of the richest sources of Vitamin C in nature.
The Metabolic Blend
So, the first thing I notice here is a Ginger, Turmeric, and Black Pepper extract (piperine) mixture. Also, Cinnamon Bark. This reminds me of a lot of what is inside Pure Life Organics Flat-Belly Tea. This is basically the whole Curcumin absorption and Piperine formula. This is effective for several health benefits such as immune response and fat loss. You can read more about this in my other reviews.
As for everything else. Shilajit or Sheela-Jeet is a very special ingredient. If you have ever heard of rock sweat this is basically it [R]. It’s a type of mountain residue high in fulvic acid, humic acid, and several amino acids. It is probably one of the most interesting ingredients found in this supplement. Its benefits include detox, increasing fertility, immune health, and anti-aging. Much more as well…
Also, in the Metabolic Blend is both Green and White Tea extract. Green Tea is very popular for health. White Tea is less so but both these ingredients contain EGCG (Epigallocatechin Gallate). This is added in OFBT because it helps reduce oxidative stress (caused by high CRP) and also helps improve thermogenesis.
Prebiotic and Probiotic Blend
Inside OFBT you can find 100mg of Prebiotics and 3 Billion CFU of Probiotics. If you have read some of my other posts I have written about probiotics a few times now.
They are good bacteria that are added to your digestive tract to cleanse your gut biome. This is for improved digestion. Which of course can be very beneficial for weight loss.
As for the Prebiotic, this is just one ingredient – organic blue agave inulin. This is actually hyped up quite a bit on the OFBT sales page. It is extracted from the chicory root and as a prebiotic, it feeds the probiotics. Which will help with bloating, gas, and indigestion, and can also target visceral fat.
How To Take OFBT
So, the main thing I picked up from the video was to take a tonic before 10 AM each morning. I didn’t get much else apart from this but I was able to find out everything else by emailing OFBT support.
Now, their directions for use are as follows;
1# – Mix one scoop (1.5 teaspoons) with a drink (water, juice, etc.). Can be hot or cold.
2# – Can be drunk either with a full or empty stomach
3# – You can add the tonic to 300-400ml of water
4# – Shake the bottle really well (or use a blender) for a few minutes,
Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask in the comments below!
Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic Customer Reviews
Honestly, this is all I can find (as of now) and this is from the OFBT website. Which I am allowed to screenshot and share. Amazon has loads of reviews though. They are very mixed. Generally, 3/5 stars – some positive reviews say it is great to be added to a smoothie. Whilst the negative 1-star reviews say the powder is disgusting but here is the interesting thing…
Some reviews say that the product they have received has different ingredients! Such as coconut added to the mix.
In fact, one review shared a picture of 2 different cans they bought of the Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic.
The real one is on the left. It is kind of a pinkish colour and the counterfeit product is a horrible grey-green color.
It kind of does tarnish the reviews on Amazon just a bit. There is also a number of listings on eBay for #OFBT. I wouldn’t trust either marketplace to buy Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic. If you want an authentic product only buy from the website GetOkinawaTonic.com
It still doesn’t guarantee you will lose weight I have to admit but if anything is going to work it will be the real product and not its grey-green counterpart. Which, if you do get demand a refund immediately because this might not be safe.
Either way, if you would like to try you have a 90-Day (3 months) period to claim back a refund through Clickbank. If you need any help with this let me know, and also all about your experience so I can share this (if it’s OK with you) with others.
Alternatively, you can contact OFBT support by email and they usually answer fairly quickly (They did with me anyway). Their email address is support@flatbellytonic.com

So, this is on paper a very unique product. If the ingredients are what the label says they are then I think this product shows a lot of promise. However, I do have my doubts but only because I can’t find any testimonials away from the #OFBT or Amazon.
The sales video I know has some people calling this fake and I know what they mean. I see this all the time. Hired actors telling fantastic stories that could be sold as Hollywood movies. I mean I don’t know if the science is sound what they talk about but does it mean the product is genuine?
Are these ingredients really what is inside? I wonder the same thing about all supplements. This is what sells it for me and personally why I recommend other products such as HFL Solutions Lean Optimizer is because they have a wealth of legitimate reviews to give me enough insight.
I like the sound of Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic but all I will say is be prepared for the worst. Try it and after 2 months if it doesn’t seem to be working contact Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic and tell them. Also, make a request for a refund or for even another can so you can try for longer.
It is recommended that you take this supplement for 3 months (so buy the 3-pack) you should have sufficient enough time to decide whether you are happy with this product, or not before the guarantee runs out.
I will let you decide – IF you are interested though…
Finally, if you would like to try something else…
I highly recommend looking at some of the products by Bioptimizers. Not quite the same thing but their reviews are much better, and you have a whole year. Where you can claim your money back instead of 3 months. See Below⏬

LOL, Facebook groups can be interesting, huh? Thanks for sharing your experience with Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic and weight loss reviews. It sounds like they have managed to put a lot of interesting (and somewhat product-related) facts together, without actually having scientific studies for their claims. A lack of testimonials is a flag as well as asking for 3 months before expecting results (at least there is a 90 day return window).
Thank you for sharing all of the info about the ingredients!
Hi Aly, Yes know what you mean about facebook. As for the scientific studies I will update to include these. I do have a list that you can look at though in the meantime;
References (flatbellytonic.com)
These definitely say a lot about the product and it’s effectivness. The only thing I wonder about is the actual authenticity of this product. Hopefully, I can find some customers who have used this formula for themselves so I can update this post with more information.
The Okinawa flat belly tonic comes in powder form and contains powerful antioxidants to help eliminate free radicals. I bought and used it very well, thank you for the review
Hi yes, it has some very interesting products I need to do some further research but good to hear this worked for you.
Many thanks;
Alex
Thank you very much again for an interesting review. The information you give is priceless! And I believe it works fine, but I am a natural person, and I think if we eat healthy, many raw vegetables, as juice, salads, nuts, seeds, healthy fats, and proteins, we get enough nutrients in our body. However, for people who can’t eat right, it might be a blessing. The listed nutrients are essential for our cells and bodily functions.
I use healthy organic juice powders in my vegetable juices, and I must admit that they help keep my energy up, which slims us down. Avoiding high carbohydrates is also essential to lose weight and stay healthy and energized. I might give it a try and will tell you the results. Anyway, Thank you again for your excellent detailed article, Alex! I have learned very much from it! 🙂
Thank You Sylvia for your detailed response. Yes, it is always best to eat healthy before anything else and yes agreed for those that struggle to do so it might help to try a dietary supplement. You mention Organic Juice powders which ones do you use? I hear there is a lot of hype about the Organifi brand. May have to look at it for a future review. As for carbohydrates I think it is not so much avoiding them just refined carbs that are packed full of sugar such as white bread and pasta. Hope this helps. Also if you do try Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic would be good to hear how you get on. It looks like a very interesting formula. To be honest ShilaJit is the one ingredient that has me interested but then saying that I am a bit of a sceptic of products that only offer 60 Days Money Back guarantee as I don’t feel this much of a guarantee at all. By the time you’ve taken the product for sufficient time your time is up.
very informative post! I liked how the post is written and the information is conveyed to the readers.
Thanks Ash
