Health Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar

So, Why is Apple Cider Vinegar Healthy?  This is the main purpose of this article, this much is clear but how might this be able to help people?  Below are 5 different examples of health conditions that may be improved by taking a daily dose of Apple Cider Vinegar…

1. Apple Cider Vinegar for Weight loss

Apple Cider Vinegar for weight loss

There are some studies that show that taking a small amount of Apple Cider Vinegar before eating can lead to weight loss.  In a study conducted in a Japanese lab, an experiment was carried out on people that drunk no vinegar, 15 ml of vinegar, and 30 ml of vinegar over the course of 12 weeks.  The results found that at the end of this study, researchers discovered that consuming vinegar regularly could help lost more weight compared to other products.

Of the many types of vinegar, apple cider vinegar especially may be a good choice for adding to a weight loss diet plan because it is readily available commercially and can also be made at home from fresh apples.

2.  May Lower Cholesterol Levels

lower cholesterolAccording to two small studies conducted in 2012 and 2018, apple cider vinegar may be able to reduce cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides.  For this reason, many doctors and physicians prescribe ACV to patients that are suffering from high cholesterol.

So if you have high cholesterol this may be able to help improve this condition.  Although, It is always recommended to consult with a health professional or a doctor for their advice before taking.

3. Can Reduce the Risk of Heart Disease

heart 6651861280

As discussed earlier, apple cider vinegar can help in reducing cholesterol and triglyceride levels. These things are known to increase the risk of heart disease when they are present in abundance in our bodies.  Also, Apple cider vinegar contains alpha-linolenic acid in abundance, which is proven to reduce the risk of heart diseases in both men and women.

So, if you have any health concerns related to your heart then you should definitely go see a doctor but another idea to maybe consider, as well, is to add a small amount of apple cider vinegar to your diet.

4.  Source of Probiotics

probiotics pills and dietary supplements

Dairy products such as yoghurt and milk are considered as the main sources of probiotics, but they are not the only ones.  Apple cider vinegar is a source of Probiotics as well.  Not only this but Yoghurt and Milk can both be a cause of inflammation, and not everyone can always digest them.

Fortunately though if you are seeking an alternative then Apple cider vinegar can provide you with the necessary probiotics without causing these additional problems.  AVC contains the clusters of healthy bacteria that your body needs to regulate your digestive system and other organs, so taking this product definitely has its advantages.

Also, Apple Cider Vinegar can help you in fulfilling the deficiency of probiotics without any side-effects.

5. Improved Hair Health And Skin Health

As well as the above Apple cider vinegar is often used as a natural ingredient in products such as shampoos and creams.  This is because of the acetic acid found inside apples, which can help reduce the pH of your skin.  This is something that studies have shown that by lowering pH this can result in the improved health of both hair and skin.

Different Types of Apple Cider Vinegar

So for this section, before I bring this article to a close I will just quickly take a look at the different types of Apple Cider Vinegar available…  I will try not to keep you too long but let’s take a look, shall we?

So…;

1.  Actual Apple Cider Vinegar

Why is Apple Cider Vinegar Healthy?

Right so for starters, this is obviously the main type of ACV.  You can find this at any local health shop and even in some supermarkets.  You can also make your own from the comfort of your own home.  This is the purest form of ACV but unfortunately, it’s disadvantages include its unpleasant taste and that it can stain your teeth.

Also, in the bottled form of ACV, you can buy different kinds such as filtered, unfiltered, ACV with Mother, Raw and Organic.

2.  Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies

Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies

Another popular form of Apple Cider Vinegar is in the gummies form.  These are made with Gelatin to make jelly shapes.  They are actually everywhere online if you look but the difference between taking Gummies as opposed to supplements is that they are not vegan friendly.

#Note: Gelatin is made from animal by-products;

You can also make these gummies from the comfort of your own home, and they also have the added benefit of removing the unpleasant taste of ACV.  Although the main downside here is that making your own gummies may get quite messy, and they may not work if they’re not made properly.

3.  ACV Dietary Supplement

These are also everywhere you look online.  You should always exercise with caution though when buying ACV supplements as there are a lot for sale that can be very poor quality.  It is perhaps the best thing to carefully read through customer testimonies or reviews before buying.  The best one’s you should be able to tell by what people say about them (word of mouth).

Aside from this, there is maybe one advantage over actual apple cider vinegar and gummies that a lot of ACV Supplements have.  This is that most the time they come in a veggie capsule (vegan-friendly) and just like the Gummies there is no awful taste or anything to cause stains on your teeth.  You can also regulate your dosage a lot easier with supplements plus they are by far the most convenient form of taking ACV if you are either Vegan or Vegetarian.

Anyway…

My No.#1 Recommendation for ACV Supplement

So, If you search the internet for apple cider vinegar, then you will find plenty of sellers selling different products. But our recommendation here at DynamicIdeas4Life.com is to try VitaPosts Apple Cider Vinegar Pure.

It is one of the best apple cider vinegar extracts available on the markets and is for sale at a very competitive price.  Plus as you may, or may not know, apple cider vinegar can have a very strange taste with a sharp smell that has been known to put people off using it.  With VitaPost ACV Pure though this is available in the form of easy to swallow vegan-friendly capsules.

Which means that there won’t be any kind of bad smell or taste, but you will still get the same benefits.

If you want to read the full review of VitaPost ACV Pure, then you can visit this article. (Link to Review Here)

My Final Thoughts

Personally, I have only tried Apple Cider Vinegar on a couple of occasions and it is nothing like Apple Juice or even Apple Cider.  It has a very bitter, dry taste from what I can remember so I have to admit I do have a certain kind of respect for anyone that has the resolve to drink this every day.

As for its effects and if these include weight loss.  This is something that has a long history and for other things such as sore throats and varicose veins.  So, definitely something worth giving a go if you are looking to lose weight, and as for taking as a supplement well, this might not be as potent but definitely a more bearable option.

What I would suggest would be to buy both.  If you can manage to drink Apple Cider Vinegar on an odd morning it will make your supply of the capsules (if you wish to try them) longer.

Even another idea to try is making your own homemade ACV.  See this guide for instructions.

  1. This is a great topic for an article!  My son uses apple cider vinegar daily.  He mixes it with lemon juice, cinnamon, clove, and ginger.  It has been very beneficial for supporting his journey to a healthier weight.  I personally used it a bit for acid reflux and it worked very well.  It’s a powerhouse for all that it does – especially considering how inexpensive it is.

  2. I have heard a lot of good things about apple cider vinegar and many people recommend it. It was interesting to read about its benefits. If I take apple cider vinegar for healthy hair and probiotics, would I still lose weight? I don’t want to lose weight, so this is why I’m asking … I know of some people who mix a spoonful of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water, which makes it easier to drink. Would that also stain the teeth?

    • Hi Igwubar,  I wouldn’t say it is a certain cure for diabetes but it is known to improve insulin sensitivity which helps your body move more glucose out of the bloodstream and into your cells.

  4. Thanks for the Apple Cider Vinegar review! I strongly believe that the news was being spread all over the world because a lot of people have used the product and just would like to testify to its effectiveness on their health. Apple Cider Vinegar sounds like a more potent health solution for treating chronic ailments like Diabetes, blood sugar, yet there are still parts of the world where people are suffering from these ailments but have no access to the product.

I’m overwhelmed with the long list of health benefits of this product, especially for improving skin and hair health, burning fat quickly, lowering cholesterol, and many more.

  11. Hello Alex.
I read about the benefits of Apple cider vinegar for the skin before and I had a rash of some sort little pimples on my chest and I bought the Aldi cider vinegar and splashed it on it stung a bit but it seemed to work took the itching away. However I get these spots quite often and I think the rash is stress related is there anything I could be taking instead because when it flairs up it makes my life very uncomfortable as sometimes I cant relax when it gets bad.

  12. Years ago, I tried taking small amount of ACV daily for weight loss too. It was so unbearable because how can one get used to such a sharp and lingering fermented taste? I stopped after a couple of months.

Heard ACV in jelly forms were much better (and my friends bought them too), but still I didn’t like it…

I might go with your suggestion to try since its in vegan friendly capsules. Looks like a credible brand too!

    Thanks for sharing this.

    Cheers.

    • Hi Sam, Yes I know what you mean on its own it is a bit much. To be honest I don’t think it is a taste that money people can deal with although I notice my sister and mum use this as a salad dressing. I think it actually kind of works this way if you want to try it. Otherwise yes you can try the ACV Pure Supplement – I’ve not tried myself but used the company for their Joint Pain Supplement. The order process I found was pretty painless – the only problem I had was I didn’t take the opportunity to buy more. Anyway so that is a good one but also another one you might want to check out is Goli ACV Gummies
