Perhaps you will already be able to decide if you want to try Impact Why Protein from the Information I have already shared but if you have never used Protein Powder before let’s take a quick look at this…
What is Whey Protein Used for?
The purpose of a Whey Protein Shake is to boost the amount of protein in your diet without having to eat more foods rich in protein such as fish, eggs, or chicken.
These foods are often eaten by bodybuilders, and high-performance athletes in order to add muscle mass, along with using a protein powder.
You don’t need to be a pro to use a protein powder they can be taken by anyone who is looking to lose weight or looking to gain muscle and have more protein in their diet.
In fact, Why Protein Powder is often used by runners, joggers, and even those of us who work out at home.
Who Can Take Whey Protein?
Whey Protein has gained immense popularity not only among bodybuilders and athletes but also among health-conscious individuals looking to boost their protein intake.
However, the question remains: who can benefit from incorporating Whey Protein Powder into their diet?
It really depends on the purpose of taking this product but the main groups Include;
1. Fitness Enthusiasts and Athletes:
- Bodybuilders: Whey protein is well-known for its ability to promote muscle growth and repair, making it a staple in the diets of many bodybuilders.
- Athletes: Whether you’re a professional athlete or someone who enjoys regular exercise, whey protein can help support muscle recovery and improve overall performance.

- If your goal is to increase muscle size and strength, incorporating whey protein into your post-workout routine can provide your muscles with the necessary nutrients for optimal growth and recovery.

- Weight Gain: Conversely, for those aiming to gain weight or muscle mass, whey protein can serve as a convenient and effective way to increase calorie and protein intake.
4. Vegetarians and Vegans:
- Since whey protein is derived from milk, it’s not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. However, there are plant-based protein powders available, such as pea protein or soy protein, which offer similar benefits to whey protein. [CLICK HERE TO SEE OUR PICK FOR VEGAN PROTEIN POWDER]

Plus, you don’t need to be an athlete or a bodybuilder to use Impact Why Protein Powder either. Anybody can use it and benefit from its many different nutritional benefits.
How To Take Impact Whey Protein
The recommended amount you should have is 25 to 35 grams a day on a workout day. 35 grams would be made up of 2 shakes, drink one before the workout and the other as soon as possible after because it works more effectively that way.
However, most people don’t work out 7 days a week. For me, if I go to the gym I’ll go every other day. If you do something similar then on the non-workout day drink the shake once a day for good results.
You can purchase it in 4 different convenient sizes, 250 g, 1kg, 2.5kg, and 5 kg.
Other Protein Powders To Look At Otherwise
Although, MyProtein is a massively popular brand with probably more reviews than you will find for most products there are a few other products that stand on their own as potential alternatives that offer something else different. I will leave the rest up to you but anyhow…
1.) Bioptimizers Protein Breakthrough
Available in 2 different flavours Berry Bliss and Chocolate Bliss Protein Breakthrough is labelled as the ultimate meal replacement with 97.5% Organic Ingredients such as Pea Protein, Hemp Protein, and Pumpkin Seed Protein.
Pricewise this more expensive than Impact Whey Protein although the Bioptimizers brand is known for releasing high quality Premium products.
Also, Protein Breakthrough is both Soy and Gluten Free although the Chocolate Flavour is not Vegan Friendly BUT Berry Bliss Flavour is.
Touchstone Essentials Organic Super Protein
Much like Protein Breakthrough Organic Super Protein is another Premium Organic formula that contains plant proteins. However, this is more suitable for Vegans than both Impact Whey Protein and Protein Breakthrough. It also contains a wider mix of Ingredients.
Pricewise Organic Super Protein by Touchstone Essentials is a cheaper option than Bioptimizers and you can subscribe and save to get a further $10 discount although STILL this is more expensive to buy than Impact Whey Protein. Although it definitely has its own unique benefits.
Impact Whey Protein Powder Review: My Final Thoughts
Even if you just want an effective way to lose weight and not add any muscle mass this will work for you.
Just because a product costs a lot of money doesn’t mean it works better than a cheaper alternative.
When using This product please remember it will not produce muscles overnight, if you work out consistently and eat properly it will produce the desired results. It is a great way to get more protein into your diet with out eating more food.
It works if you follow the directions properly.
People who have purchased this give it very high reviews and come back to purchase it again and again. That speaks volumes to me.
VERDICT: I have personally been using it for the past 9 months, the strawberry flavour is my personal favourite because it tastes great , I’ve lost some weight as well as obtaining definition to my muscles.
Recommended.

As someone who has always had a problem gaining weight do you think this product could help me? I feel like I have to fast of a metabolism and I burn up all the calories I take in. If I cant gain weight, I can’t make it into muscle. It says it can also be used to lose weight too which I don’t want. Really i’m wondering if Whey Protein could be used by a skinny guy who can eat junk food all day and still not gain a pound? Maybe I would have to mix more into my shake.
That is actually a very great question. My son in law is a really skinny guy who eats like a horse and never gains weight. He uses this product and it does aid you to gain weight and muscle.
So yes is the answer to your question.
Nice review of whey protein, I’ve always relied on whey to help me in my workouts as a safe and consistent protein source. I have recently switched to plant-based for personal reasons, though so I am no longer taking whey, but it definitely is a great source of protein for anyone else who is looking and not plant-based like me.
Hi John, there are many different varieties as you know.
Plant based are recommended for people who have certain medical conditions, including lactose intolerance.
I’m happy that it works for you.
Very informative. I work out, but I don’t take any protein powder. In the future I mightthough. This article on whey protein was very useful and explained a lot of things I didn’t know. Great website, by the way. Thanks for creating it. It’s good to have online resources that can help us get healthier.
Thank you very much for reading and leaving me a comment. I never used to take the protein powder but after a couple of recommendations I thought I would give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the results. It also tastes good.
I have always wondered about the benefits of Whey Protein – I’ve seen it on the shelf but haven’t taken much time to explore until I saw your post. I am pushing my Seventies (age not weight) and do not seem to be getting enough protein in my diet. Meat (hamburgers and etc.) are not be helping since I seem to keep gaining weight. Would Whey protein be a good choice for someone of my age and is there any specific brand of that you would recommend that I try?
Whey powder benefits people of all ages because it can help you put on weight by giving you extra protein to aid in the building of muscle and also it can help you to lose weight by making you feel fuller for longer.
It is an all natural product.
I would not recommend one for you simply because I am not a doctor and it would depend on if you had any allergies as it contains Lactose.
This sounds like a great product, is there an age to start using protein supplement? For 12 years old it could be too early maybe? And for him, it will be best used in porridge because he loves porridge.
I can see that it comes in different flavors, does it keep the same efficiency? Because some products become less effective when they are mixed with other flavors.
Thanks
The Flavors of it don’t change the efficiency of it in anyway. A 12 year old would usually get enough protein from the food they eat. If they didn’t this would not do him any harm.
It’s my first time reading about this product (Whey Protein). It’s like this is a good product for body builders and athletes. Some people ared not body builder or athletes, they just want to look fit and have a nice body. Based on your review, I feel like this product will help them somewhat.
But it sounds like another way of taking steroid – maybe more natural than steroid.
Anyway, I would like to try it and see how well it works.
Thank you for your comments. To be honest you don’t have to be an athlete or a bodybuilder to use it. It can be very beneficial if you just work out at home. I’m in my 50s and I don’t go to the gym anymore. It isn’t anything like a steroid as it is all natural.
