Bioptimizers Nootopia Review – An Introduction

So, apart from what I mentioned above about the Bioptimizers Nootopia Stacks, there is also only (as of now) one single stand-alone supplement which is Bioptimizers Nootopia Collagenius [Read My Review Here].  

This is basically a supplement that is geared towards anti-aging and helping to reverse brain degeneration through 2 types of Collagen and 4 types of exotic mushrooms.

This I am sure will be followed by more new Nootopia products in the future but as of now the Nootopia Nootropics range really just consists of the 3 main packages (stacks) consisting of the individual products and Nootopia Collagenius. 

The 2 faces behind the Nootopia Nootropics brand are Matt Gallant and Mr. Noots aka Mark Effinger – a somewhat celebrity in the field of Nootropics because of his previous business ventures such as his product Limitless NZT-48 ~ which was named after a 2011 movie about a pill that could unlock 100% of the brains abilities.

Bioptimizers in their own right have released many highly rated products since they began around 2003 and this trend is something that only seems to be set to continue with the release of their Nootopia line of products (est. 2021).

Who Are Nootopia Nootropics For?

According to the NCBI (The North Carolina Biotechnology Institute), Nootropics are generally used in acute or subacute conditions for treating memory, consciousness, and learning disorders.  

They are recommended for incipient brain damage, which manifests in memory loss, mental retardation, and qualitative changes in consciousness.  [R]  In theory many Nootropic supplements are quite similar.

However, there are differences between pharmaceutical nootropics and commercial nootropics such as Nootopia Nootropics.  Mostly, commercial nootropics are taken by customers who wish to improve overall brain and cognitive function, improving focus, memory, and critical thinking.  

They may also be used as remedies for conditions such as brain fog and for better concentration on important daily tasks. 

Why Take Nootropics?

For anyone new – Nootropics, also known as “smart drugs,” “memory enhancers,” or “cognitive enhancers,” are substances that claim to improve cognitive function, particularly executive functions, memory, creativity, or motivation, in healthy individuals. 

Some nootropics that have been studied that have been found to have potential benefits include caffeine, piracetam, and modafinil.  However, ingredients vary from product to product and It is important to note that the effectiveness and safety of nootropics have not been extensively studied. 

Although, there definitely are a lot of people that support the claims of the benefits of taking Nootropics.  In my own personal experience of taking Nootropics, I have noticed these positive effects.  It certainly does depend on the dose and the actual product but if you can get this right there is a lot (I believe) of good that can be said about what these do. 

Why Choose Nootopia Nootropics?

In my own opinion, I would actually just recommend Nootopias products based on what I know about their parent brand Bioptimizers.  I have tried several of Bioptimizers’ products now and I have been quite happy with the results.  Some customers I know have been unhappy with the checkout process and for being mistakenly made to select subscribe and save but quality wise I haven’t really seen any complaints about the quality of the Bioptimizers range.

Something I expect to be the same with Nootopia and I am sure is when this brand really starts to take off the positive reviews will not be too far behind.  I will update this review accordingly as seen as I find these but as of now here is a screenshot of the Bioptimizers page on Trustpilot.

The Creators of Bioptimizers Nootopia

I have said this already but yes basically Nootopia is a sub-division of Bioptimizers.   Bioptimizers is a company that is run by Wade Lightheart alongside Matt Gallant.  Wade does not really appear to be too involved with the Nootopia brand and instead his partner Matt Gallant has partnered with Mark “Mr. Noots”  Effinger.

Really I would say Mark “Mr. Noots” looks to be the brains behind the Nootopia Nootropics range.  If you look into his past work – this is not his first rodeo with respect to helping create commercially released Nootropics.  

Matt Gallant, I would expect still has quite a lot of involvement in the branding and decision making but Mark seems to be the real expert when it comes to Nootropics.  If you do your research he is quite a fascinating character.

What Is Ultimate Focus? (Focused Savagery)

“Ultimate Focus” aka. Focused Savagery is a combination of 21 natural and potent ingredients and nootropic nutrients that are designed to enhance productivity and help individuals stay focused for extended periods of time. This supplement claims to provide deep focus, increased energy, hyper-productivity, all-day motivation, and easy creativity. 

The effects of Ultimate Focus are said to last between 3-10 hours and provide a boost of dopamine and GABA to keep the mind focused and alert.

According to one user of Ultimate Focus, taking this supplement felt like an alternative to the smart drug modafinil, helping them to get a lot of work done and remove distractions. 

However, they also note that the product is only productive if distractions are removed.

How About Neo Cortex Nectar (Nectar X)?

Nootopia recommends that new users begin taking their Nootopia Stacks with Nectar X, a 16-gram powdered supplement that contains a blend of energy boosters.  I mixed the powder into water and drank 2/3 of the suggested serving size, despite the recommendations of taking 1/4 to 1/2.  

The flavor, which I selected during an initial survey, reminded me of a fruit punch-flavored sports drink.  The taste I would say is able to mask the unpleasant taste of most nootropics.

Within minutes of drinking Nectar X, I felt the effects kicking in, making it one of the fastest-acting nootropics I have ever taken, aside from nicotine.  As I continued to drink the remaining 1/3 over the next hour, I noticed that unlike caffeine, which can cause tunnel vision on one task, I was able to take in information from my surroundings more easily and was able to multitask better than usual.

Over the next few hours, the Nectar X amplified my natural energy and did not give me a “speedy” feeling, but rather it felt like it increased the size and flow of my energy reservoir.  However, I did experience a momentary queasiness after having a cup of coffee about two hours after my first sip.

I also noticed that the formula had potent appetite-suppressing effects.  I usually have a healthy post-lunch dessert, but while on Nectar X, I rarely finished it.  Nootopia describes the benefits of Nectar X as mood elevation, energy boost, learning enhancement, mental clarity, and healthy habit formation.

I personally have taken The Apex in the morning on an empty stomach, and I didn’t feel any immediate effects. However, after a few sips of coffee, I noticed a slight sense of calm and mental sharpness. Despite having a larger workload than normal, I felt the effects magnified greatly.

GABAlicious is a Nootopia product, unlike all the rest.  Where most focus on generating energy and boosting cognitive processes via bio-modulatory stimulation, this one increases levels of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA (hence the name).

GABAlicious works great to rapidly take the edge off jitters, stress, and anxiety (without zapping your energy or motivation).

I found that GABAlicious helped me drop into the highly desirable Flow State quickly. 

For this reason, especially I like to take this formula before big, important days that provoke nervousness.

Mental Reboot AM/PM is 2 different booster products one for the morning and one for the evening.  Inside each booster you can find a blend of 9 notable “brain cleaners” and neuron accelerators, making it one of Nootopia’s more unique products.  

After 12 years of research and development, Nootopia and Mr. Noots designed the AM/PM formula to help the brain rebalance and return to its natural state. 

It is intended to mitigate the damage and grogginess caused by late nights, overindulging in foods, alcohol, and toxins, lackluster sleep, and over-reliance on smart drugs and medications.

I saved mine until I did a two-week caffeine and stimulant tolerance reset to augment and accelerate the re-sensitization.

Within about an hour of taking the morning (light-colored) capsule, I felt content, optimistic, and full of ideas. Usually, I dive straight into my work, but on Mental Reboot days, I focus more on planning. I now find myself reaching for Mental Reboot when I need a strategic day.

Nootopia describes the benefits of Nootopia Mental Reboot as:

Compared to the other products, I found the effects of Mental Reboot subtle. Upon studying the ingredients list, I discovered that I already take many of the compounds in this formula.

The Breakthrough Brain Stacks

At the time of writing this Bioptimizers/Nootopia do not offer the products named above as individual products but each to some degree can be found in the following Nootopia stacks;

Genius Activator (Nectar X + Brain Flow)

Consider Genius Activator when you want a quick yet long-lasting solution with a faster information processing speed.  This stack is my personal favorite among the Nootopia options and I use it more frequently than others.

This stack enhances:

• Concentration
• Mental clarity
• Memory recall
• Cognitive agility

Genius Activator combines two popular products, Nectar X and Brain Flow (or Upbeat). You can take either one first or both Nectar X and Upbeat together. I prefer the combination of Nectar X and Brain Flow.

I followed the recommended usage and took half of the Nectar X in the morning, followed by the second half slowly over the next two hours. Then, at 11 AM, I took a Brain Flow capsule, about three hours after finishing the Nectar X.

Brain Flow gave me a noticeable boost. It was one of the strongest stacks I have ever tried.  Like most stimulants, I experienced a heightened activation of my sympathetic nervous system, including shallow breathing and tightness in my chest.  Although I considered skipping my coffee, I decided to drink it for the sake of experimentation. 

Surprisingly, the coffee reduced the jitters I felt.

Thanks to the effects of Genius Activator, I had no difficulty researching and writing over 5,000 words in one afternoon. My focus was sharp and I was able to get more done than usual, even enjoying the process. The stack amplified my music playlist on Spotify, making the experience even more enjoyable.

At 6 PM, I began to gradually come down. Now, when I take Genius Activator, I reduce my dosage. It’s important to start with a conservative approach when using this stack to achieve the best results.

Social Command (Power Solution + Upbeat)

I was pleasantly surprised by the benefits of the Social Command stack from Nootopia.  It strikes a balance between boosting my thinking speed and helping me communicate my thoughts more effectively. 

SC is designed to enhance recall and information transfer across the brain, leading to improved logical and creative thinking.

This makes it a perfect choice for those in sales, marketing, public speaking, or any profession where communication is key. The Social Command stack includes Power Solution and Upbeat (or Brain Flow). 

I tend to use it on days when I’m recording videos, podcasting, or having a series of important Zoom meetings.

To take advantage of the benefits of Social Command, I like to start my day with half of the Power Solution after my morning walk and electrolyte drink. Two hours later, I add an upgraded coffee. Then, an hour after lunch, I take the Upbeat.

The addition of Upbeat has a significant impact on my energy and mood, often motivating me to work out later in the day. When I return to work, I find that my thinking is sharper and I’m better able to analyze the research I review. 

My content creation, whether it be video, written, or audio, becomes easier and in meetings and podcasts, I’m more attuned to the emotions behind my counterparts’ speeches.

Recently, I used Social Command to build a persuasive presentation for my job that effectively addressed management’s questions and spoke to the principles of ethos, pathos, and logos. 

To my surprise, Social Command became my favorite stack from Nootopia.

The Neuro Primer (Apex + Brain Flow)

Nootropic formulas are often known for creating noticeable effects or restoring the brain, but Neuro Primer goes beyond that.  Nootopia has designed a formula that both boosts performance and actively regenerates the brain at the same time. 

This formula serves as a protection against stress-related performance degradation and is considered the most sustainable nootropic by many users.

Nootopia refers to Neuro Primer as “Performance on Demand” because it quickly leads to high performance, making it a popular choice among leaders who want to establish and strengthen the right neural pathways. 

The Neuro Primer stack includes The Apex and Brain Flow or Upbeat.

In one user’s experience, taking The Apex in the morning resulted in a slight pressure behind the forehead, a common side effect of the CILTEP stack for some non-responders. 

However, taking Brain Flow about an hour and a half later relieved the pressure and brought about a strong urge to multitask. The user was able to accomplish a lot of tasks but suggests that for optimal results, it’s best to minimize distractions and use Neuro Primer only on days when you plan to focus on important activities like learning new skills, improving memory, breaking bad habits, or correcting faulty movement patterns.

Warning:  Neuro Primer can have an appetite-suppressing effect and can make it difficult to eat even after exercising.

Deep work Support (Focused Savagery + Upbeat)

The Deep Work stack is designed to help you excel on high-pressure days where your performance must not suffer.  This stack aims to keep your energy levels high, add a touch of energy, and help you achieve a peak state of productivity.  You can expect increased motivation and a reduction in decision fatigue, all while avoiding the crash often associated with stimulants.

The Deep Work stack combines two powerful productivity enhancers, Focused Savagery and Upbeat. Nootopia suggests taking them in any order, spaced by a few hours, or together with Brain Flow for a trifecta of productivity.

To get the most out of the Deep Work stack, it is important to have a plan. Start by creating a list of priorities for the day and eliminate distractions by putting your devices on Do Not Disturb and using a tool like Toby Chrome to close tabs.

I began my Deep Work experience by taking Focused Savagery at 7:30 AM for a boost in focus, motivation, and productivity. After about 30 minutes, I became fully immersed in my work and only briefly emerged from the zone when I felt the effects of Savagery intensifying.

Three and a half hours later, I took Upbeat for a boost in energy and a mood-lifting effect. With my elevated confidence, I tackled new projects and accomplished more in a single day than I typically would have in three days. I found that instead of forcing outcomes, solutions came to me more easily while in a Flow State.

At the end of the day, I was able to accomplish all of my major priorities and still had the energy and motivation to tackle smaller tasks without feeling overwhelmed or frustrated. I remained upbeat and joyful throughout the day, despite the usual buildup of resistance that can occur during periods of productivity.

My Verdict On Nootopia Nootropics

Nootopia is quite a new one for me.  I think it can be a little confusing at first with so many products to choose from but the best thing to really do is to experiment with each one until you can decide which combination best suits you.  I like how the app can be used to get a taster of each product to help you get a feel of everything but besides this, it can be quite overwhelming trying to decide what to take and when to take it.

However, the book on top of this is a great resource to read through and is a nice little bonus on top of everything else.

I think GABAlicious is maybe my favorite product out of the whole stack but Focused Savagery is good too when it comes to those long complex tasks such as in my case running this website.

Although, ultimately I think the Nootopia experience will differ from person to person.

Final Word

In hindsight, for me at least Bioptimizers Nootopia Nootropics seem to be a great product line to watch out for if neuro hacking is something that interests you.  Especially if you don’t mind experimenting with different products.  Take Thesis looks to be the main competition here to me if you are after a customizable nootropics stack but Nootopia is definitely unique.

The price might be a little high for some people but I would say based on both the previous work of Mark “Mr. Noots” Effinger and the Bioptimizers brand Nootopia is an interesting product line to watch out for.
