Magnesium Deficiency Treatments: My No.#1

Magnesium Deficiency Treatments; My No.1 Recommendation!

Magnesium Deficiency Treatments::  My No.#1

Hello Guys, for this post I am going to be sharing something very special.  My Number #1 Recommended choice of Magnesium Deficiency Treatments.  It is actually part of a product range that I have featured here heavily at this website but first of all, let’s look at what a Magnesium Deficiency is shall we;

Of course, it is when our body is deficient of Magnesium but for anybody, that wonders what the importance of this element is biologically then well here goes.

Our body needs Magnesium for the following things;

According to Holland and Barrett’s website (a well-known supplier of health products and homoeopathic treatments) our body’s use magnesium in some 300 different biochemical reactions.

These include our metabolism, building strong bones, to fuel our muscles, and to even keep our heart beating.  For these natural processes alone it is essential, so magnesium deficiency treatments are something healthwise that should seriously be considered.

Magnesium Deficiency Treatments:  My Number #1

So this product I was emailed about maybe a month ago but didn’t notice it right away.  It had not been on sale for months before that as the last batch of it had sold out completely.  Indeed I had written about other products in this line before but I have not been able to promote this one until now.

This product is from the BiOptimizers range and it is called Magnesium Breakthrough.

It is marketed as a Full Spectrum Premium Magnesium Complex Dietary Supplement, and if you check the sales page you can see a chart of all the benefits of this product over its competition.  Check this out (here)

This is actually unlike other BiOptimizers products I have reviewed before.  Not because of quality I don’t mean that but the data which is actually provided on its sales page.  This includes testimonials from doctors which I will post below and several links to scientific studies which I will share at the bottom of this post;

Magnesium Deficiency Treatments Continued…

Low magnesium levels have been linked with a number of severe health conditions including osteoporosis, heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, clogged arteries, strokes and chronic stress.

It is used medically to treat constipation, heartburn, irregular heartbeat and pregnancy complication for women such as pre-eclampsia and eclampsia.  More so it is known that magnesium in our body plays a vital role in bone structure, the central nervous system, and neutralizing stomach acid.

Signs and Symptoms of Magnesium Deficiency

Early signs that you could be Magnesium Deficient include general fatigue, tiredness, nausea and loss of appetite.  In more extreme cases people have also been known to have trouble sleeping, spasms, muscle cramps, irregular heartbeat and even seizures.  Although it is difficult to diagnose Magnesium Deficiency with complete accuracy these are known to be symptoms.

Actually low magnesium intake within a lot of people is actually fairly common.  So, this adverse health condition affects a large number of people.

Symptoms of Magnesium Deficiency are outlined in 2 categories.  “Classical” and “Latent or Sub Clinical”.  Classical symptoms are the physiological signs such as things like those mentioned above, and the “Latent” symptoms or those what may not actually be Magnesium Deficiency but something else.

Do You Know if You Are Magnesium Deficient?

As mentioned above as signs and symptoms both “classical” and “latent” are extremely common it is hard to know exactly.  Although in an ideal situation Magnesium is a highly important mineral for our biology.  Taking it in the form of supplements or by consuming certain foods especially is a very good idea.

I would say whether you feel you might be magnesium deficient or not you should consider at least what dietary options are available.  You can also opt for products such as Magnesium Breakthrough as mentioned above and others.

Foods that Contain Magnesium (Mg)

Magnesium Deficiency Treatments

2 very good examples are Broccoli and Almonds.  Seeds and nuts are good examples of Magnesium-rich foods, as are leafy green vegetables.   Avocados, Oatmeal, Spinach, Bananas, Brown Rice and Dark Chocolate.

There really is a wide range of different foods that you can choose and not all of these are unappealing to people as healthy greens and brown rice.  Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Bananas what is not to like?

Although taking Magnesium Supplements is still a sensible choice for boosting your Magnesium levels.  A healthy diet should be considered by anybody that doesn’t follow a healthy lifestyle.  It is important for everyone but taking Magnesium alongside any other things such as multivitamins has very clear benefits.

Magnesium Supplements for Weight Loss

Magnesium Supplements for Weight Loss

For this part of the article, we will quickly look at the benefits of taking Magnesium Supplements for Weight Loss.  Actually this is not really what I have written this article to highlight.  It is more because of the benefits for healthy living but as this article is about my No.#1 Recommended Solution for Magnesium Deficiency Treatments – I thought would share something from the BiOptimizers Magnesium Breakthrough sales page.

So, what it says is that stress makes it difficult for you to sleep, and stress makes you gain weight.  This I covered very recently here at dynamicideas4life in my post about HGH and Weight Loss.  There is said about how the stress hormone cortisol was responsible for affecting the regulation of other hormones such as Leptin.

Here is what it says on the Magnesium Breakthrough sales page;

magnesium supplements for weight loss

Sorry McDonald’s but your food is not what people should be eating if they are looking to lose weight.

Anyway, this is not the only thing that the Magnesium Breakthrough page says but, in essence, here is a quick summary;

  1. “Magnesium is the Fourth Most Abundant Mineral In Our Body”.
  2. “Almost everyone is Believed to Be Magnesium Deficient in some way”.
  3. “Higher Levels of Stress Burn Out Our Natural Levels of Magnesium”.
  4. There are 7 Different Forms of Magnesium that play an Important Role”.

What Are the Side Effects of Magnesium Supplements?

Taking supplements such as Magnesium Breakthrough are generally safe but the general rule of the thumb is if you are over the age of 8 years old do not take more than 350g.  This information is not actually from the website it is from WebMD and covers all Magnesium Supplements.  Here is what it says;

Also on the label for Magnesium Breakthrough, it includes the usual caution on the side of the bottle as all the other BiOptimizers products.  Keep out of reach of small children and stop taking if you experience any adverse effects.

Final Thoughts

magnesium deficiency treatments

Magnesium is not the only important mineral that a healthy body requires.  Also, there is Calcium, Potassium, Iron, Sodium and Zinc.  However, if you have taken the time to read the above content then you will know, or at least have some kind of vague idea how important Magnesium is.

So Magnesium deficiency if you believe you have it then for starters definitely look to improve your diet to more magnesium-rich foods.  Also seriously consider taking magnesium supplements even if they are just the cheap one’s from the supermarket but if you want something that packs a bit more punch look for a full spectrum magnesium supplement.

If you are searching online you can also look for broad-spectrum magnesium supplement but before doing so take a look at the magnesium breakthrough website.  It is basically a sales page but the best part as mentioned above in the pros and cons is that on all bioptimizers products they offer a 365-day full money-back guarantee.

  1. Magnesium breakthrough sounds like a great product. Thank you for also including foods that are high in magnesium. My wife suffers from muscle weakness/pain issues and doctors always want her to “”mask” the issue with pain relievers which do not help. She also struggles with getting quality sleep due to the pain and it sounds like magnesium could help with both issues. Your article was educational and we will be trying out some of your suggestions. we will also pay close attention to the pros and cons.

    • Hi James,  Excellent.  I think we could all do with more magnesium in our diets.  Zinc also.  Anyway, this could be the answer you are looking for if you could maybe bookmark the page for later you can read again maybe.

  2. Thanks for this. I really appreciate the important information you have provided here. You said that magnesium deficiency has many symptoms but may not be easy to diagnose definitively. You quoted a doctor saying that low magnesium to calcium ratio in the cells is a warning sign. But it sounds to me that this would not be something revealed by a regular blood test. My wife has been concerned about low magnesium in her diet for a while and has sought to address this principally through dietary changes. She seems to have reversed the situation and early warning symptoms in this way. But it is good to know about Magnesium Breakthrough because of the value of all the different forms of magnesium it contains. Thanks very much for this. Best regards

    • Thanks for taking the time to reply Andy, and I’m glad to hear that there is some substance here.  I have personally been working on my diet myself and good to here this works for others.
